Green appointed as head of regeneration at AECOM Manchester
Planning consultancy Aecom has appointed Richard Green as head of regeneration at the firm's Manchester office.
Green, who joins from Taylor Young, has experience of many large-scale urban regeneration and masterplanning projects in the north. These have included masterplans for Leek, Cheadle and Warrington town centres, and a new masterplan for Dreyfus Village. He has also worked on the Daresbury Science and Innovation centre.
“For me, the key to creating successful projects is to offer sustainability in the round – economic, environmental and social – using our combined skills and experience to improve people's quality of life,” said Green. “AECOM offers tremendous opportunities to draw together multidisciplinary teams of urban designers, architects, economists, environmentalists, planners, landscape architects, transportation specialists, project management and implementation experts and others.”
