Crain's will be blogging live from international property show MIPIM in Cannes next week.

Property reporter Simon Binns will be running a blog all of next week, including build up the event and coverage of the main sessions on Wednesday and Thursday.

On Wednesday (March17), David Leather, chief executive of the greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive and Jackie Potter, chief executive of Corridor Manchester, will be holding a session entitled Moving Manchester, which is expected to outline plans for the Oxford Road area of the city.

On the same day, Michael Oglesby, chair of Bruntwood and inward investment agency MIDAS, and Paul Lakin of the Northwest Regional Development Agency, will present a session on Regenerating Manchester and the Northwest.

On Thursday, Sir Howard Bernstein, chief executive of Manchester City Council; Ian Simpson of Ian Simpson Architect; Roger Stephenson of Stephenson Bell and David Partridge, managing director of Argent, will hold a morning session on Civic Centre Manchester.

In the afternoon, Sir Howard will take to the stage with Eddie Smith, chief executive of New East Manchester and Manchester City FC chief executive Garry Cook to outline much-anticipated regeneration plans for East Manchester.
