New divisional directors appointed at Siemens

Manchester-based Siemens Industry Automation &Drive Technologies has promoted Brian Holliday and Andrew Peters to the roles of divisional directors.

Holliday will be responsible for the Industry and Automation division while Peters will take charge of Drive Technologies.

The pair will report directly to Siemens UK Industry Sector managing director Juergen Maier, who said: “The UK IA&DT business is going from strength to strength and we will continue to drive forward our Power of One business strategy to meet the needs of the marketplace.”

Commenting on his new appointment, Peters said: “Now more than ever our customers are looking to Siemens IA&DT to support them in terms of offering quantifiable solutions, to act as a true consultative partner and deliver real value back to their businesses.”

Siemens employs around 20,000 people in the UK. Last year, UK revenues hit £3.5bn. IA&DT operates across a number of industries including chemicals, aerospace, food and construction.
