Orbit filling up Crown House
By Simon Binns
Alderley Edge-based Orbit Developments has almost filled its 20,000 sq ft Crown House office building in Wilmslow after securing two new tenants.
The building is now 75 per cent let after financial services providers X-Cap Securities Ltd and finance company Aldermore took more than 10,000 sq ft between them.
London-based X-Cap Securities has taken the 5,105 sq ft first floor and small business lender Aldermore has taken 5,135 sq ft of space on the second floor. Only 5,200 sq ft now remains unoccupied in the building.
Paul McLeman, director of leasing at Orbit Developments, said: “Three floors at Crown House became available to let in August 2009 and we have almost achieved a full tenancy with just the third floor remaining.
“This demonstrates the growing popularity of Wilmslow as a prime business location due to excellent transport links and its proximity to Stockport, Manchester city centre and Manchester Airport.”
