Mosscare joins accountants’ benchmarking scheme
By Michael Fahy
Manchester-based housing association, Mosscare, has become the latest housing association in the UK to join accounting firm Baker Tilly’s Back Office Benchmarking Club (BOB).
The initiative was launched three years ago to help housing associations get more added value from their back office functions and identify efficiency savings, allowing more money to be spent on services to tenants.
“Joining BOB is an exciting step forward for Mosscare,” said the firm’s finance director, Vince Ormrod. “Analysing our current back office performance and sharing best practice will help us to drive the organisation forward and ultimately improve the quality of service for tenants.”
Mosscare is responsible for around 4,500 properties in Greater Manchester. It is the 40th organisation to join Baker Tilly’s BOB group.
