Ex-RAC chief joins NCC board

Manchester-based IT security business NCC Group (LSE: NCC) has appointed Debbie Hewitt, who was until recently managing director of RAC Plc, as a non-executive director.

She is also a non-executive director of the Office of Government Commerce which oversees the government’s purchasing budget and reports to the Treasury.

Her other non-executive directorships are at support services group Mouchel Plc; Domestic and General Group Plc, which provides warranties for domestic appliances; and at nightclub operator Luminar Group Holdings Plc.

Hewitt recently resigned from RAC, where she was appointed managing director in May 2006.

She has an MBA with distinction from the University of Bath and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development.
