Mantra Learning Ltd chosen to deliver government programme
By James Chapelard
Manchester based Mantra Learning Ltd, a people development company focused on the logistics and automotive sectors, has been selected as lead partners to deliver the government’s £100m Response to Redundancy initiative.
Mantra, which will co-ordinate the work of eight North West training providers appointed by the Learning & Skills Council, has created an education support and training programme called The Job Gym.
The programme provides individuals with free advice and guidance on interview techniques, confidence building, composing a CV and how best to utilise and apply transferable skills within the current local job market.
Mantra Learning’s director Mark Currie said, “Being the lead provider entails full co-ordination of the project: including the design of correct paperwork to LSC standard - issued to all involved providers - design of marketing materials, printing of material and distribution, our admin processing all the paperwork. We are their help desk and will deal with any problems, queries or issues.''
Mantra is working with the following North West training partners on the initiative: Alliance Learning, Asset Training, Cohesion Legal Services Centre, Focusing First on People, Skills City Ltd, System Training, Transport Training Academy, and Lancaster Training Service Ltd.
