Labour agency adds first franchise

Stockport-based labour supply agency, Trade Man’s World, has sold its first franchise.

The firm provides labourers and skilled tradespeople for domestic maintenance and home improvement projects.

After operating in Greater Manchester for two years, the company is looking to expand throughout the UK and Europe.

The first franchise is operating in Kent, and Trade Man’s World hopes to sell six more in the UK this year. “Franchising allows us to grow rapidly with minimum overheads,” said co-director Andrea Moczarski.

“Trade Man’s World’s home-based franchise, we believe, is perfectly placed to thrive in the current difficult climate. We have particular expertise in recruiting and working with highly skilled Eastern European tradespeople,” she added.

The initial investment required for a franchise is £10,000.
